Roles and Responsibilities

WWF-India, one the largest organizations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation, seeks applications from qualified accounts and finance professionals.

Location: Tezpur (Assam)

Job Profile:

  • Documentation & Records
  1. Manage project accounts data and ensure proper record keeping
  2. Maintain records of Consultants, Freelancers and 3rd party engagement
  3. Maintain records of Rent agreements and create a schedule of payment/reminder system as per agreement terms
  4. Maintain records of all agreements of the landscape and create a schedule of payment as per agreement terms
  5. Maintain records of fixed asset items procured for Secretariat and landscapes. Coordinate with landscape members and ensure that the asset register is updated

  • Software & Applications
  1. Create and manage POs in D365
  2. Update / Create entries in D365 to manage expenses
  3. Create Finance MIS reports for the Landscape leads / TL with various parameters

  • Bill Processing & Vendor Management
  1. Prepare, examine and analyze Accounting records and financial statements.
  2. Develop, implement, modify, and document a record-keeping and accounting system.
  3. Make sure that all of the financial and accounting procedures (cash books, logbooks, stock registers, and so on) are kept in good condition at every level.
  4. File documents on a regular basis and maintain an orderly filing system.
  5. Booking of project expenditure in financial software [D365]
  • Procurement Support
  1. Manage the procurement items for the landscape
  2. Coordinate with the landscape to collate requirement of support items
  3. Interact with vendors and create a vendor database for regular procurement.
  4. Responsible Vendor relationship management - line up vendors for the required items well in advance
  5. Actively help in goods and services procurement related activities (quotations, vendor selection, vendor advance & settlement, etc).
  6. Manage procurement related documents like RFQs, Quotes, PO etc.
  7. Assist with routine administrative tasks on a daily basis

Qualifications and competencies required:

  • Post Graduate / Masters in Commerce / Finance
  • 3 to 5 years of accounts management, project finance data handling experience is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer application software including advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with standard reporting / BI applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of multiple regional language preferred
  • Knowledge of FC fund management / NGO Accounting is a bonus
