Roles and Responsibilities

WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the vacancy of Senior Program Officer for the program One Planet Academy – A digital resource centre for environment education based out of New Delhi.

The incumbent is responsible to ensure effective implementation of the One Planet Academy in New Delhi for the development of an educational platform engaging students and teachers.

Locations: New Delhi (with travel across WWF-India’s state office locations)


  • Conduct user focused research on-ground and online
  • Develop and update the website content taxonomy.
  • Monitor and review website operations in coordination with the website developers and vendors.
  • Identify and liaison with vendors and consultants for effective and timely execution of the project.
  • Collect and collate data as evidences for assessing impact.
  • Undertake Outreach activities and organize capacity building workshops.
  • Build a network of teachers for constant feedback for enhancement of the website content.
  • Project documentation, reporting and budget monitoring.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Candidates should have a post graduate degree in environment science/education/life science/social science from a reputed university.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Education Technology.
  • Knowledge in Education Technology space or e-learning platforms is desirable.

Desired experience skills and abilities:

  • Understanding of the education system
  • Good written and presentation skills
  • Well versed with Microsoft office
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
